Chronic skin first Peer-reviewed sources, cited We don’t sell your data · not HIPAA

“Doctors told me I’d spend about $30,000 a year on medications for life — that I’d always be a psoriasis patient. My mom and I changed how I ate, moved, slept, and recovered. In about three months my skin cleared. I altered my lifestyle mainly through diet and exercise and am healed for life. I built Vela Health so you can understand your body the way I learned to — and find the peace that comes along with it.”

— Megan Gadiparthy, founder of Vela Health

Why Vela is different

Generic wellness apps

Vague advice, no personalization

Typical doctor visits

Symptoms on the day of the appointment — not how daily choices compound over years

Vela

Conventional medicine treats your flare. Vela helps you find what compounds underneath — food, sleep, stress, sunlight, and labs mapped to your patterns. Educational guidance, not a diagnosis.

Personal health intelligence.

Vela learns your body from daily life and labs — educational patterns, not generic tips.

Your data, your patterns

Every log teaches Vela more about what drives your skin — not someone else's.

Lifestyle + labs together

Diet, light, sleep, stress, and labs — read together so you can see what compounds over weeks.

Built on cited research

Guidance informed by peer-reviewed sources we can point to — transparent, not absolute.

Early access is free while we open doors. Paid plans come when Vela is fully ready — founding members lock in early pricing.

Vela does

  • Help you log meals, outdoor light, sleep, and flares briefly
  • Read blood work you upload and connect it to what your body is doing
  • Suggest evidence-informed habits and solutions you can implement — alongside lifestyle changes
  • Show patterns so you see what helps your body

Vela doesn’t

  • Diagnose, prescribe, or replace your clinician
  • Tell you to stop prescribed medications
  • Handle emergencies — get urgent care when needed
Is Vela medical advice?

No. Vela is educational self-care — not a diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for a clinician. Check important decisions with your doctor, especially around medication, labs, and diagnosis.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants clearer habits and long-term insight into their body. We focus first on psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, autoimmune skin conditions, and symptoms that never quite get explained. Under 13 requires parental acceptance before the account unlocks.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

We’ll email you when early access opens — usually a short note with a link to create your account. No spam list; you can unsubscribe anytime. Founding-member signups get priority invite plus locked-in early pricing when paid plans launch.

Will there be a mobile app?

Daily logging is a phone habit. Early access starts on the web so we can ship faster with founding members — native iOS and Android apps are planned once the core loop (check-in, labs, patterns) is solid. Join the waitlist and we’ll email when each door opens.

How do you handle my health data?

We don’t sell it or train models on your PHI. AI providers may process prompts only to generate a response. We’re not a HIPAA covered entity today — see our Privacy promise, Privacy Notice, and Security pages.

Do I need a diagnosis?

No. Start with how you feel day to day. If you already have a diagnosis, Vela helps you map habits and patterns to what you’re living with — without replacing specialty care.

Can AI get things wrong?

Yes. Vela can miss context or suggest something that doesn’t fit your body. Treat every suggestion as a starting point — not an order — and verify anything high-stakes with a clinician.
